Vacuum Tanks

1. Vacuum Pumps

Generally come in Vacuum only or Pressure & Vacuum. These pressure/vacuum units are used to assist in pressure offloading to reduce offloading time. Can also be very convenient to clear blockages in wands and suction hoses. .

Maintenance – Vacuum pumps should be flushed regularly to prevent gum build up on the vanes and surfaces of the pump. This should be done to the manufacturers specifications. Conde? pumps come fitted with flushing valves and are very easy to flush. Vacuum pumps should also be regularly topped up with oil. Conde? pumps have an easy to use oil sightglass and a wick system on their pump so there is no adjustment required for oil flow into the pump.

2. Oil Catch Muffler

The upright oil catch muffler is a unique Condé® designed system that has been tested and proven. This cleanable stainless steel internal screen catches the vacuum pump oil and helps to quiet the vacuum pump noise. The muffler is equipped with a 1” drain valve. Comes complete with flushing point for easy cleaning. .

3. Secondary Moisture Trap

Available in several different models, the secondary shutoff should be efficiently designed to help eliminate excessive pump wear and damage in the event any material escapes past the primary shutoff. Clean regularly and inspect daily for debris within the catchment bowl. .

Maintenance- Secondary moisture traps should be emptied when they are starting to accumulate moisture. Keep bowls and sight glasses clean and every 6 months inspect rubber seals and balls to ensure they have not perished or require replacing.

4. Primary Shutoff Valve

Available in several models, better model units have a removable internal housing to enable easier servicing and cleaning. A very important part of the tank to ensure that no liquid enters into the vacuum tank. .

Maintenance – Every 6 months remove internal housing and inspect rubber seals and balls for damage or to ensure that they have not perished or require replacing.

5. Vacuum & Pressure Relief Valves

These are fitted as standard on Condé® Vacuum pumps with pressure. All tanks should be fitted with vacuum relief valves and all pressure offloading systems should be fitted with pressure relief valves. Test regularly to ensure correct operation. Test regularly to ensure correct operation. .

6. Liquid Filled Vacuum / Pressure Gauge

Liquid filled gauges will give a longer service life and be more accurate. Makes setting up vacuum and pressure relief valves easier and helps identify any problems earlier. .

7. Pump Deodoriser Scent Unit

Fits into the system after the oil catch muffler. The unit is filled with a scented oil and as warm exhaust air passes over the oil, it causes the oil to evaporate and attach to the molecules in the air, therefore neutralising the odour. Very useful in areas where pumping can be an issue with offensive odours. .

Maintenance – Refill as necessary to ensure operation is maintained. Flush out every 12 months for better performance.
