Portable toilet maintenance and cleaning

Portable toilets require chemical to be added to the unit every 2 to 3 weeks depending on conditions and usage factor which will control odours.

Once the unit is full, it will require to be vacuumed out which is done via a service truck. These are normally readily available in most areas and are found in the yellow pages under waste management or septic tank cleaning service.

The unit quoted is fully self contained and will require the hand basin and flushing water tank to be filled with water.

Otherwise the unit needs to be washed out every now and again and every 12 months or so if you spray the unit with some plastic rejuvenator it will keep it looking like new and repel dirt and make it easier to clean and look after.
